Bloody-Mary Chili

Use your favorite Bloody-Mary Mix or make your own

Ingredients
  1. 1 Pound Ground Turkey or Beef
  2. 1 1/2 Cups Onion, chopped
  3. 2 14 Oz. Cans Red Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed
  4. 1 28 Oz. Diced Tomatoes, including liquid
  5. 4 Cups Bloody-Mary Mix such as ZingZang or Mr. & Mrs. T
  6. 1 Tablespoon Canola Oil
  7. 4 Cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
  8. 4 Tablespoons Sweet Chili Powder
  9. 1 Teaspoon Ground Cumin
  10. Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a large skillet, add onion and sauté till golden brown, about 8 minutes. Add ground meat to skillet and cook till it browns, breaking it up as it cooks. Stir in chili powder, cumin and garlic, cook till garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Transfer meat mixture to a 6 quart Crock-Pot. Add beans, tomatoes and Bloody-Mary mix and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Season as needed with salt and pepper to taste
Notes
  1. Easy crock-pot meal - Kick-It-Up by adding Tabasco or Cayenne Pepper to taste
