Aunt Marilyn's take on US 31 or WipiDip Barbeque
Ingredients
- 5 Pounds Fresh or packaged cabbage, shredded
- 1 Pound Onion, diced
- 1 Quart Dill Pickle Relish
- 2 Cups Ketchup
- 1 Cup Yellow Mustard
- 1 Cup Cider Vinegar
- 2 Cups Sugar or Splenda
- 1 Jar Horseradish
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in a large stock pot. Add your cooked meat and simmer at least 1 hour. Add water if sauce dries out.
Notes
- Use with chicken, turkey, beef or pork. Excellent with left over Thanksgiving turkey.This recipe makes a lot of sauce, scale it to suit your needs. It's also kind of sweet, you may want to cut back on the sugar.
